1. Information We Collect
ProFoundr collects information you provide when you create an account, build a profile, list a company, post a project, or submit an inquiry. This includes your name, email, phone number, city, state, and any professional details you choose to share. We also collect usage data such as pages visited and features used.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to create and manage your account, display your profile and company listing, connect you with other users through inquiries and projects, send transactional emails, analyze and improve our platform, and prevent fraud and abuse.
3. Address Privacy
We understand that some construction professionals work from their home address. ProFoundr supports three address visibility settings: exact, approximate, and city-only. When you choose approximate or city-only, your exact coordinates are never exposed to the public. Only you and our administrators can see your full address.
4. Data Security
We use Supabase Row Level Security to enforce that users can only access their own data and data that has been explicitly shared with them. Sensitive operations — such as verification approvals, subscription updates, and administrative actions — are performed through protected server functions, not the browser. We never place the Supabase service-role key in frontend code.
5. File Uploads
Files uploaded to ProFoundr (profile photos, company logos, project images, documents) are stored in Supabase Storage. We restrict file types and maximum sizes. Image compression and optimized versions may be created for display.
6. Your Rights
You can edit or delete your profile at any time. You control your contact visibility settings and address visibility. You may request export or deletion of your data by contacting us.
